Library Expansion

The Strategy: Substantially expand on-site library services and seating for students and increase access to digital and off-site collections.

By renovating and modestly enlarging the footprint of the existing building, nearly 50% more seats will be available for student use – including individual study carrels, casual lounge seating, seminar rooms and mentoring desks. A new high-density stack building will house lower-demand collection materials, enabling the collections to continue to grow without over-burdening the present site.
