Adaptive Reuse
The Challenge: Design a generously proportioned room from a large awkward space, divided by a low diagonal steel beam.
AxD incorporated the low angled beam to create a dramatic, diamond-shaped coffered ceiling, illuminated with decorative pendants. Designed primarily as a members' meeting and dining room, multi-panel etched glass French doors, and cherry wainscoting and trim adds durability to walls along with a sense of warmth and luxury.
