educational facilities
Our educational facilities experience includes work at both college settings and non-profit libraries and other cultural institutions. The Ullyot suite for the Chemical Heritage Foundation is designed to accommodate various group sizes, up to 300 people, using movable partitions and multiple A/V systems. Smaller conference rooms accommodate more intimate seminars and in-house meetings. At Bard College, Ed Barnhart served as the Project Manager when the Stevenson addition was built to double the size of the library. Recently AxD has designed a 25,000 sq. ft. four-story addition to house, not only an expanded collection of hard-copy media and increased student population, but also to create a new state-of-the-art digital wireless information commons.
