We strive to innovate at all scales of a project, starting from program assessment down to the smallest details. The proposed vegetative rooftop garden for the thirteen O1 restaurant project not only reduces solar heat-island effect and rain burden on city’s storm water system, it also creates an enticing backdrop for rooftop pavilion bar patrons. For the Chemical Heritage Foundation we designed a façade using solid zinc panels, the first such material usage in Philadelphia, to compliment the gray granite of the adjacent historic building and express the forward-looking nature of the institution. At the AxD gallery, careful detailing includes doors invisibly incorporated into wall systems and floating ceilings that shape perimeter lighting while concealing overhead fixtures and utilities.
